# Nuclear evaluation attribution

The bundled H-1 evaluation was obtained from the publicly distributed NNDC ENDF/B-VIII.0 neutron library: https://www.nndc.bnl.gov/endf-b8.0/download.html . Retain the evaluation header in `data/raw/h1-endfb8.endf`, including its authors, laboratory attribution, dates, and bibliographic references.

ENDF/B-VIII.0 is a US nuclear-data evaluation library distributed by the National Nuclear Data Center at Brookhaven National Laboratory. The evaluation is provided for scientific use without a correctness warranty. The project does not assert ownership of the underlying evaluation or relicense it under the source-code MIT license. The distribution page does not attach a separate SPDX license identifier to this evaluation. Users redistributing it should retain the original attribution and review the current NNDC terms and notices.

The compact table is a representation of the same H-1 energy knots, reaction cross sections, interpolation laws, and elastic Legendre coefficients; its provenance records the raw-file and compact-binary SHA-256 digests. No commercial or proprietary nuclear-data library is included.
